Sadio Mane joins Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr

Senegalese superstar Sadio Mane has joined Cristiano Ronaldo at Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr from Bayern Munich.

After just a single season with German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, Sadio Mane has elected to join the train of superstars moving from Europe to the Middle East.

That train entered a new dimension since January when Al Nassr signed Portuguese award-winning striker Cristiano Ronaldo as a free agent after he left Manchester United FC following a row with manager Erik Ten Hag.

It’s official, Sadio Mane has completed a move from Bayern Munich to Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr, where he will earn £650,000 a week.

Mane has signed a contract until 2027 which means he stands to earn around £136m in total if he sees out the deal.

The former Liverpool FC man joins a star-studded Al Nassr side as they prepare for the 2023/2024 Saudi Arabia Premier League season which gets underway in few days.

Aged 31, Mane will now reap huge financial benefits as a result of the move to Al Nassr where his partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo is one interesting piece fans will look forward seeing to when the season gets underway.
