Arsenal to Receive Financial Boost with Folarin Balogun’s €40m Transfer to Monaco
Arsenal will get cash boost after agreeing a deal with Monaco to sell Folarin Balogun for a total package of €40m.
Folarin Balogun has been linked with a move to a host of European clubs but has finally joined Monaco on a five-year-deal.
The player of Nigerian descent signed until 2028 for a €40m package, €30m plus significant add-ons. Arsenal are said to have included 17.5% sell-on on the deal.
Folarin Balogun, 22, returned to France after an explosive loan spell at Reims where he netted 22 goals last season.
As Balogun embarks on this new chapter of his career, Arsenal stands to gain a considerable financial boost through the €40 million transfer to Monaco.
