Ethiopia Women’s team skipper Expresses her Joy after meeting Asisat Oshoala for the first time
Ethiopia Women’s National team skipper Lorza Aberra has expressed her joy after meeting Super Falcons star, Asisat Oshoala for the first time.
The meeting which Aberra described as a ‘ dream come true ‘ happened when Ethiopia faced Nigeria in a Paris 2024 Olympics Football event qualifier on Wednesday, October 25 in Addis Ababa.
Ethiopia forced their more illustrious opponents to a 1-1 draw in the second qualifying round first-leg match.
After the match, Lucy’ of Ethiopia skipper, Lorza Aberra took to social media to express her joy after meeting multiple time Africa Women’s Footballer of the year, Asisat Oshoala for the first time.
She wrote ” Unforgettable moment with a football icon met Asisat Oshoala, and it’s a dream come true!,”

Aberra will have opportunity to meet Oshoala again when Ethiopia files out vs the Super Falcons in the reverse fixture at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja next week Tuesday.
The aggregate winner of the match progresses to the final qualifying round for a place at the Paris Olympics games next year.
