Why I Chose Shootings Stars After Kwara United Exit – Ayodele Bamidele

wants to maintain same form Shooting Stars

Shooting Stars defender, Ayodeji Bamidele has revealed why he opted to play for Oluyole Warriors after new contract talks with Kwara United collapsed at the end of last season.

The 25-year-old featured for Kwara United in almost all their games last season but the club decided not to renew his contract at the end of the season.

Speaking to SportsRation in an Interview, Ayodeji said he did his part while playing for Kwara United and it was time to move on.

“We all have visions and I think I did my part during my time at Kwara United. Football is business and a contract with players comes with agreement and disagreement.

“Playing in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) is competitive enough, so playing all games for Kwara United came with hard work and dedication.

“I chose Shooting Stars because they are a top side and I needed to gain more experience. I just hope that I can do everything I did at Kwara United, in Ibadan too.” Ayodeji told Sportsration.

The former Rijeka defender also stated his target for the season as he wants to be part of history in Ibadan.

“My target is winning the league or getting a continental ticket with the team because it’s been quite a long time since the Oyo State football fans experienced continental games and I would love to be part of the history,” Ayodeji concluded.
