Wilfred Ndidi a transfer target for La Liga clubs
Nigerian midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi is subject of transfer interest from Spanish LaLiga clubs, FC Barcelona and Sevilla FC . SportsRation reports.
Europa League champions Sevilla are reportedly keen on signing the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi in January while FC Barcelona have been on is watch since the summer.
That both La Liga club’s are interested in signing Ndidi has been fuelled by his superlative performances for Leicester City this season.
Wilfred Ndidi has made significant goal contributions for the foxes who lead the English Championship standings.
He has scored three goals, provided four assists in 15 appearances in all competitions for Enzo Maresca side.
According to Foot Mercato, Sevilla have already lined up bid for the Nigerian international who was expected to leave the club last summer but stayed on.
There a claims Sevilla have made a first offer for Ndidi who is believed to hold keen interest in a return to the Premier League instead.
Ndidi did not feature for the Super Eagles in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe due to injury and may not be back in time for the weekend fixture.
