UEFA Euro 2024: Spain drawn against champions Italy as France draw Netherlands

Germany, Scotland to face off in opener, England drawn with Denmark

The draws for the UEFA Euro 2024 were carried out today, and the final groupings for the tournament, which is set to take place next summer in Germany.

Reigning champions Italy barely scraped through qualification, and have been drawn in Group B, which is expected to be a group of death, alongside Nations League winners Spain, Nations League runners-up Croatia and Albania.

France are expected to have a much easier task, as they have been drawn against Netherlands, Austria and a Playoff winner in Group D.

Hosts Germany will kick off the tournament against Scotland, and they will be joined by Hungary and Switzerland in Group A.

England are in Group C with Denmark, Serbia and Slovenia. Belgium, Slovakia and Romania will be joined by a Playoff winner in Group E, and Portugal, Turkiye and Czech Republic will also be joined by a Playoff winner in Group F.

The tournament will kick off on June 14th at the Allianz Arena in Munich, with the final set to take place on July 14th at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

Group A: Germany, Scotland, Hungary, Switzerland

Group B: Spain, Italy, Croatia, Albáníà

Group C: England, Denmark, Serbia, Slovenia

Group D: France, Netherlands, Austria, Playoff winner

Group E: Belgium, Slovakia, Romania, Playoff winner

Group F: Portugal, Turkiye, Czech Republic, Playoff winner.
