Cote d’Ivoire vs Nigeria: Two changes to the Super Eagles starting XI

Nigeria national team coach Jose Peseiro has made two changes to the Super Eagles starting XI for the 2023 AFCON clash vs Cote d’Ivoire .

Cote d’Ivoire and Nigeria will lock horns in the Africa Cup of Nations match at the Stade Allassane Oautarra in Abidjan on Thursday, January 18, 2024.

In goal, Stanley Nwabili retains his spot with Calvin Bassey a new addition in a three-man defence that includes William Troost-Ekong and Semi Ajayi while Ola Aina and Zaidu Sanusi will operate as wing backs.

Others are, Frank Onyeka, Alex Iwobi, Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze and reigning CAF player of the year, Victor Osimhen.

Kickoff is 6pm.
