Flying Eagles to kick off 2023 African Games against Uganda, Falconets face Morocco
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled the official fixtures for the 13th African Games in Accra, Ghana, setting the stage for exciting clashes in both the men’s and women’s football competitions.
In Group B of the men’s U-20 category, the Flying Eagles from Nigeria are scheduled to commence their campaign against Uganda’s Junior Cranes on March 8, 2024.
Following this opening match, the Flying Eagles will take on South Sudan, clash with Senegal on the 12th, and wrap up the group stage with a match against Tunisia two days later.
On the women’s front, the Falconets of Nigeria are set to open their African Games journey against Morocco on March 8.
Subsequent matches for the Falconets include a showdown with Senegal on the 11th and their final group stage encounter on March 14.
The football events for both the Flying Eagles and Falconets will unfold at the Cape Coast Stadium and Accra Sports Stadium, promising thrilling encounters as these talented youth teams vie for success in the prestigious tournament.
