VIDEO: Bassey And Iwobi On Target As Fulham Seal Historic Man Utd Win
Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi were on target as Fulham secured a historic 2-1 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford in a league game on Saturday.
The Super Eagles duo were two of the best performers as the Londoners secured their first win against Manchester United in any competition in 14 years.
Calvin Bassey opened the scoring in the 65th minute with a striker-like finish. The defender attempted an acrobatic strike but his effort was blocked before eventually scoring with a great hit.

It was Calvin Bassey’s first goal for Fulham, and also his first ever in the Premier League for the London club.
An 89th minutes Harry Maguire strike restored parity for the home team, but Alex Iwobi and Fulham were not going to leave the Theater of Dreams without the maximum points.
In the added time, Alex Iwobi fired past Onana to become the first Fulham player to score a winning goal at Old Trafford since Steed Malbranque in October 2003.
