Get in! Nigerian players light up Europe with goals
It was a wonderful weekend of football for Nigerians plying their trades across Europe as some of them were on song for their various clubs.

Taye Taiwo
The long forgotten Super Eagles left back who now play for HJK Helsinki in Finland was on song on Sunday, he scored his club’s only goal has they defeated IFK Mariehamn in the League Cup.
Chuba Akpom
It was wonderful day in the office for Akpom, who bagged a hat-trick for Hull City as they defeated Bury 3-1 to advance to the FA Cup 5th round where they’ll play Arsenal.
Sone Aluko who also play for Hull City gave a good account of himself for 85min before he was substituted for Maguire.
Kelechi Iheanacho
The Nigerian wonderkid was on rampage as he scored his first Manchester City in their 4-0 dismantling of Aston Villa at Villa Park. His hat-trick is the 3rd by any Manchester City player this season.
Manchester have an away trip to Stamford Bridge in the 5th round of the FA Cup.
Odion Jude Ighalo
He came in as a second half substitute for his club and scored the winning and only goal of the game as Watford beat Nottingham Forest to set up a 5th round tie with Leeds United.
Odion Ighalo has scored 10 goals in his last 15 competitive appearances for Watford.
Peter Osaze Odemwingie
The fit again Nigerian striker was on the pitch for 75 min as Stoke City lost narrowly to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Victor Moses
Victor Moses played for 70 min as West Ham played out a goalless draw with Liverpool at Anfield to force a reply at Boleyn Ground.
