D’Tigress set to kick off Paris 2024 campaign against Australia as FIBA unveils fixtures
FIBA has officially released the fixtures for the women’s basketball events at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games showing D’Tigress schedule at the games.
Nigeria’s D’Tigress secured their spot in the Olympics despite facing tough competition in the qualifying tournament held in Antwerp, Belgium.
Drawn into Group B, D’Tigress faces a challenging path ahead with opponents including Canada, Australia, and host nation France.
As per the fixtures released by FIBA, D’Tigress will open their Olympic campaign against Australia on July 29th.
Subsequently, they will take on host nation France on August 1st at 4:15 pm local time, followed by a match against Canada three days later at 12:30 pm.
All matches are scheduled to be held at the Lille Pierre-Mauroy Stadium.
Despite their strong performance at the World Cup, D’Tigress is yet to secure a victory at the Olympics since their debut.
As they prepare to embark on their Paris 2024 journey, the team will be aiming to break this streak and make their mark on the world stage once again.
