Eden Hazard confirmed as Real Madrid’s new number 7

Real Madrid have given star signing Eden Hazard the No.7 shirt, with the Belgian set to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Raul Gonzalez and Cristiano Ronaldo by donning the number.

That shirt had belonged to Mariano Diaz, who is still at the club, but he will now wear the No.24, despite rumours linking him with a move to Monaco.

Elsewhere, it was interesting to see that James Rodriguez has been given the No.16 shirt, having worn the No.10 before going on loan to Bayern Munich.
