Abia Comets FC gets new Technical Adviser

Abia Comets FC of Umuahia, a Nigeria National League (NNL ) side, has officially appointed Tony Ogharanduku as the new Technical Director/Technical Adviser of the club.

The announcement was made by the Chairman of the club, Chief Boniface Alozie Uche.

Chief Uche, in introducing Ogharanduku, expressed confidence in his ability to lead the team out of its current situation.

Ogharanduku, known for his experience and knowledge of the game, is seen as the right person to guide Abia Comets to improved performances.

Speaking after the completion and signing of his contract, Ogharanduku emphasized that overcoming the current challenges would require joint efforts from everyone associated with the club.

He expressed gratitude to the chairman and the entire Abia Comets team, pledging to work hard to improve the team’s situation.

“I strongly believe that we are going to work harder to get ourselves out of the situation we are presently. Yes, I also believe that everyone has a role to play in helping, improving, and supporting the team for us to get out of the drop zone. So that is what we are going to do to improve the team moving forward.”

With this appointment, the position of the former Head Coach, Kevin Ejeh, appears uncertain, given the team’s recent performance record.
