AC Milan Close In On Signing Samuel Chukwueze

Italian giants, AC Milan, are reportedly edging closer to securing the services of Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze from Villarreal.

While currently enjoying his holiday in Nigeria, Chukwueze has consistently been linked with a move to the 2022 Italian Serie A champions, and it appears that a deal is finally materializing. Guiller Rai of TheAthleticFC has confirmed the progress in negotiations.

According to sources, AC Milan has submitted a bid totaling €25 million, offering an enticing package to secure the talented winger. Additionally, Chukwueze has already reached an agreement on personal terms with the Italian club.

Villarreal, valuing Chukwueze at over €50 million, is now deliberating on the offer placed before them. Thus far, no official decision has been made, as the bid remains neither accepted nor rejected.

If Chukwueze successfully completes the transfer, he will join the ranks of other accomplished Super Eagles players, including Taye Taiwo and Nnamdi Oduamadi, who have proudly donned Milan’s iconic jersey.
