AFCON U-20: Agbalaka, Muhammed, and Sunday’s goals make CAF’s Top 10
Three out of the Eight goals scored by the Flying Eagles at the AFCON U-20 tournament in Egypt have been made CAF top 10.
The Flying Eagles started their campaign with a 1-0 defeat against Senegal U-20, Solomon Agbalaka scored a thumping header to guide Nigeria to a 1-0 win in their second game.
Ibrahim Muhammad scored a long-range goal to help Nigeria beat Mozambique U-20 2-n in their last group game.
Flying Eagles edged Uganda by a lone goal in the quarterfinal and fell to a 1-0 defeat in the semis against the Gambia.
But they put four goals past Tunisia in the third-place match to claim the Bronze, Jude Sunday scored an individual brilliant goal to help Nigeria win 4-0.
So, Solomon Agbalaka‘s header against Egypt, Ibrahim Muhammad shot against Mozambique, and Jude Sunday’s solo goal against Tunisia made the top 10 cuts.
