AFCON U-20: Flying Eagles stars Make Tournament’s Best X1
Two Nigeria U-20 players have been included in the best XI of the just concluded AFCON U-20 tournament held in Egypt.
Senegal U-20 defeated Gambia U-20 2-0 in the final to claim the title, they won all their games without conceding a single goal.
Nigeria U-20 also defeated Tunisia U-20 4-0 in the third-place match to claim the Bronze medal.
And after conceding the second lowest at the tournament, two defenders from the Flying Eagles were included in the best XI.
Solomon Agablaka and Augustine Njoku were included as full-backs in the five-man defense.
Champions, Senegal have the highest number of representatives with four players, Gambia, Nigeria, and Congo have 2 each.
No player from Tunisia was picked despite making it to the last four, but a player from Uganda was picked.
