African Hockey Road to Tokyo 2020: Prof. Ediga Agbo, and Dr. Walter Imoedemhe appointed Umpires Manager and Technical Official

Prof. Ediga Agbo ( Chairman, Technical & Member, Nigeria Hockey Federation, Member AfHF Executive Committee) and Dr Walter Imoedemhe (National Coordinator , Nigeria hockey Masters & Member Nigeria Hockey Federation & FIH Technical Officer) watching a match at the just concluded ACCC, National Stadium, Abuja.

Two of Nigerian Hockey Federation finest have been appointed top officials for the forthcoming Olympics qualifiers tagged “African Hockey Road to Tokyo fixed” for Potchefstroom, South Africa later this year.

Prof. Ediga Agbo who is the Chairman, Technical & Member, Nigeria Hockey Federation, Member AfHF Executive Committee will serve as the Umpires’ Manager while Dr. Walter Imoedemhe who is the National Coordinator , Nigeria hockey Masters & Member Nigeria Hockey Federation & FIH Technical Officer will be the Tournament Official.

Both Professor Ediga Agbo and Barr Walter Imoedemhe will carry out their respective duties in the men’s category.

The qualifiers which incude both men and women categories will start from August 12th and ends on August 18th.

Nigeria’s men and women national teams are expected to fight for the slots to represent Africa at Tokyo 2020 against the likes of South Africa, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya.
