‘Africa’s best’ – Super Falcons retain top spot in Africa in latest FIFA Women’s rankings
The latest FIFA women’s rankings have been released, and Nigeria’s Super Falcons have maintained their position as the best team in Africa.
Ranked 36th in the world, the Super Falcons lead the continent of Africa.
South Africa’s Bayana Bayana are ranked 51st globally and hold the second spot in Africa. The Atlas Lionesses of Morocco are the third-best team in Africa, placed 56th in the world.
Unlike the men’s rankings, which are updated more frequently, the women’s rankings are released every three months. The next update is scheduled for August 16, 2024.
