AfriSportPro Youth League: Blessed Stars Lead the Way in Akwa Ibom Conference After Week Seven

After seven weeks of action in the maiden AfriSportPro Youth League, Blessed Stars Football Academy sit top of the Akwa Ibom Conference with 18 points, just one point ahead of Blackpool Football Academy, with four rounds of matches left to play.
Coach Ubong Vincent’s Blessed Stars have been impressive, with standout displays from captain Victor Benjamin, Emmanuel Nwaeze, Isa Abdullahi, Isaiah Adeoye, Emmanuel Nwoke, Daniel Henry and the in-form Chikamso Udefuna, who has scored decisive goals in their last two matches.

While they are among the highest scoring sides, Blessed Stars’ strength has been their solid defence, anchored by Idris Suleiman and goalkeeper Solomon Dominic. They have conceded only four goals so far — the best defensive record in the Akwa Ibom Conference.
