Agent reveals reason Osimhen will not leave Napoli this summer
Italian agent Oscar Diamani has revealed why he believes Osimhen will not leave Napoli this summer despite reported interest from top clubs.
After an exceptional season like Victor Osimhen has had, it is normal to attract transfer enquiries from Europe`s big boys.
Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and PSG have all been mentioned with interest in signing the 24-year old this summer.
For 72-year Old Oscar Diamani who currently manages Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Napoli`s valuation will scare away interested clubs.
In his playing days, Oscar Diamani represented Napoli between 1979-1982 scoring 10-goals in 72 appearances for the Partonopei before joining AC Milan.
While speaking with Napoli Magazine, the one-time Italian Serie A winner predicted that no club will be ready to match Napoli`s valuation of the Super Eagle.
“There is no club in the world that can really offer this money(€150million) to Napoli. I’m sure Osimhen will stay another year in blue and will continue to be a point of reference for the club.”
His thought aligns with the comments of Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis who has publicly declared that Osimhen is Not For Sale .
Instead, as reported by multiple sources in Italy, Napoli are planning to offer their hit-man a new and improved contract to match his status as one of Europe`s most prolific strikers .
The plan is to keep the squad together and push for more successes next season, reason manager Luciano Spalletti has been offered new contract terms.
Aurelio De Laurentiis is known for his rigidity in sale of key players and so is expected to hold-up demand for 150 million Euros if he must listen to offers for the Italian Serie A leading goal-scorer this summer.
