Ahmed Musa Rewards Kano Pillars U-19 and Mighty Jets Players with Cash Gifts
Nigeria’s national team captain, Ahmed Musa, has given ₦500,000 each to the players of Kano Pillars FC Under-19 team and Mighty Jets of Jos. The Super Eagles star made the donation as a reward for their impressive performances.
Musa announced the gesture after watching the Kano Pillars Under-19 team secure a 3-2 win over Mighty Jets in the ongoing Under-19 Youth League.
The exciting match took place on Tuesday at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano. Musa, along with his Kano Pillars teammates, was present at the stadium to watch the youth teams in action before starting their own training session.
The senior team was preparing for their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 13 game against Lobi Stars of Makurdi.
The Under-19 Youth League serves as a platform to discover and develop young talents, something Musa is passionate about.
