Ahmed Musa sends cryptic ‘ Love me or hate me ‘ message to critics

In the wake of criticisms that have trailed his inclusion in the 23-man list of players invited for the AFCON Qualifiers, Ahmed Musa has sent a cryptic ‘Love me of hate me ‘ message to critics.

Musa is Nigeria’s Super Eagles skipper and most capped player but has seen less action at club level reason criticism has trailed his inclusion in the team for the AFCON qualifiers vs Sierra Leone.

This criticism according to it’s purveyors is based on the choice of Ahmed Musa ahead of red-hot Belgium based Gift Orban and UEFA Europa League top-scorer Victor Boniface.

In a message on his Instagram account, Musa said Nigerians will one day have reason to pride over his achievements for Nigeria whether they love or hate him.

Musa wrote “Like me or hate me, a day will come when you will tell your kids a story about Ahmed Musa MON.”

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles camp will open in Lagos, and Musa is expected to lead his teammates back in preparation for the tie vs Sierra Leone.

A point on June 18 will seal qualification for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast.
