Ajayi in action as Al Ahly book CAF Champions League final spot
The Red Devils will be eyeing their record extending 9th CAFCL title
Super Eagles forward Junior Ajayi was in action as his Egyptian club Al Ahly booked a place in the 2020 CAF Champions League final.
The Egyptiam Champions completed a 5-1 aggregate win against Wydad on Friday.
Ajayi was not on target but played huge role as Al Ahly secured a 2-0 win in the first leg and 3-1 win at the at Mohamed V Stadium on Friday.
Al Ahly, now coached by Mamelodi Sundowns legendary former manager Pitso Mosimane were by far the better team on the day as booked their 13th Champions League final spot.
A win for the Red Devils of Ahly in November would see them extend their Champions Leaghe title win to Nine.
Al Ahly would face either their Egyptian rivals Zamalek or Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca in the final as they look to break their 7-year drought.
