Ajayi on target in West Brom draw vs Balogun`s QPR
Nigeria-eligible Luke Amos stars
Semi Ajayi scored one of the goals as West Brom shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw vs Leon Balogun`s QPR in the English Championship on Monday.
Ajayi scored the second goal of the contest in the 13th minute to put West Brom 2-0 up. How they squandered the lead to finish 2-2 at The Hawthorns tells the story of their English Championship season.
Brandon Thomas-Asante fired West Brom in front 10-minutes into the Week 41 clash against a struggling QPR team. Ajayi then made it 2-0 three minutes later.
Lyndon Dykes pulled one back for QPR who levelled scores in the 49th minute through Chris Martin.
The result means West Brom miss a chance to push closer to a promotion play-off spot. West Brom occupy 11th place on 57 points – five points adrift of the final promotion play-off spot (6th).
For Balogun and QPR, it was a relief to get their first point in 5-games. QPR are now 2-points above the relegation zone with 6-games to the end of the season.
Leon Balogun has played in the clubs last three matches following his return from injury.
Nigeria-eligible Luke Ayodele Amos was in action for 83-minutes for QPR. Amos has made 17 appearances this season for Queens Park Rangers.
