Akor Adams Scores Match-Winner to Help Sevilla Beat Rayo Vallecano

Nigerian striker Jerome Akor Adams scored the decisive goal as Sevilla beat Rayo Vallecano 1-0 in their LaLiga match on Sunday.

Adams began the game on the bench but came on in the second half to replace Isaac Romero. He struck three minutes from time to secure the victory.

The goal was the former Montpellier forward’s first of the season for Sevilla. The 24-year-old has now made five league appearances for the Spanish club.

His fellow Nigerian, Chidera Ejuke, was an unused substitute in the match.
