Alex Iwobi scores first Fulham FC goal in Caraboa Cup win over Norwich City

Nigerian midfielder Alex Iwobi scored his first Fulham FC goal in the 2-1 Caraboa Cup win over Norwich City on Wednesday night.

The Nigerian International was named from the start at Craven Cottage and scored midway through the second half to put Fulham FC 2-0 up.

Carlos Vinicuis had opened the scoring for Fulham FC in the 12th minute before Iwobi scored a beautiful goal to extend the lead to make B. Sainz’s 75th minute goal a mere consolation.

Alex Iwobi’s compatriot, Calvin Bassey was fantastic in defence for Marco Silva tutored Cottagers in the Caraboa Cup Third round clash on Wednesday, September 27.
