Algeria match very important for the Eagles – Rohr
Super Eagles coach, Gernot has said the two upcoming games for the Eagles against Algeria and Argentina in the upcoming days are very important.
Speaking form the team’s training base in Rabat, Morocco, Rohr highlighted the game’s importance
“All the games are important, It’s right to say that we have qualified and the result is not important, but it is important to make a good game. It’s an opportunity to see so many players who couldn’t play in the qualifiers, we have at least six injuries meaning there will be six changes already, Rohr said.
“It will be very interesting to play Algeria now, because they have a new coach and they are very aggressive coupled with good players like Mahrez, Slimani among others”.
Rohr also discussed the international friendly match with Argentina saying: “The second game against Argentina gives us an opportunity to face one of the best teams in the World, knowing we could also get a South American tram in the group stages of the World Cup and also an opportunity to see and access the Russia environment”.
The Super Eagles who have already sealed their World Cup place in Russia 2018 World Cup will face Algeria in a dead rubber match this weekend before facing Argentina on November 14th in a friendly game scheduled to take place in Krasnodar, Russia.
