Algeria v Nigeria: Super Eagles starting XI – Akpoguma, & Bassey start

Kevin Akpoguma and Calvin Bassey will be at the heart of the Super Eagles defense as they take on Algeria in an international friendly in Oran tonight.

After William Troost-Ekong’s injury, there was a big question on who will start in the defense, but like coach Jose Peseiro there is quality in the squad.

And for sure, Kevin Akpoguma and Calvin Bassey who have been handed the starting berth in today’s friendly looked able to the task.

In form, Terem Moffi has also been given the charge to lead the Super Eagles attack against the Dessert Foxes of Algeria,

Francis Uzoho is preferred over Maduka Okoye and the new goalkeeper, Adeleye Adebayo.
