Alleged sexual assault: Achraf Hakimi in trouble

Morocco and PSG star Achraf Hakimi is In trouble following allegations of sexual assault leveled against him by a 23-year old lady In France.

According to Le Parisien, a report was filed against the 24-year-old on Sunday, February 26, for an incident which the lady alleged to have happened at his home in the Boulogne area of Paris on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

According to her report to the Police, her interactions with Hakimi started on January 16, 2023 following a conversation on Instagram.

On Saturday, February 25th, she alleged Hakimi ordered an Uber that drove her to his home in Boulogne.

As first reported by Le Parisien, the lady claimed that Hakimi kissed her on the mouth, lifted up her clothes, and kissed her breasts and digital penetration with his fingers despite her protests.

According to her testimony, she was finally able to free herself by pushing Hakimi away with her foot.

After her verbal report to the police, the lady refused to press any charges against Achraf Hakimi but due to the veracity of the allegations, prosecutors have opened an investigation Into the incident.

Achraf Hakimi is currently sidelined with a Hamstring Injury which has kept him out of PSG’s last two French Ligue One games.

The Morrocan star was one his countries stand-out performers at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the North African’s became Africa’s first FIFA World Cup Semi-finalist in Qatar.

This incident will put Hakimi in odd spotlight. Veteran Brazillian right back Dani Alves, Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood and Manchester City left-back Benjamin Mendy are some footballers whose careers have been rocked by similar allegations in recent years.
