Alvaro Morata Makes Way for Super Eagles Star Victor Osimhen

Alvaro Morata is leaving Galatasaray early, making room for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to join the Turkish club.

Morata, 32, was on loan at Galatasaray from AC Milan until 2026. However, the Turkish champions have ended the loan early after finalising a deal to sign Osimhen from Napoli.

According to Marca and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Morata will now join Italian club Como for the 2025–2026 season. He has reportedly agreed to the move, and Como manager Cesc Fabregas—Morata’s former Spain teammate—personally wanted him at the club.

This will be Morata’s sixth club in five years. He has previously played for Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Juventus, AC Milan, and Galatasaray.

Galatasaray Secure Osimhen Deal

Galatasaray have decided to move forward with Osimhen as their main striker. The club had long negotiations with Napoli before finally reaching an agreement.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the transfer deal includes a payment of €40 million this summer and another €35 million next year, plus €5 million in possible bonuses. The total fee could reach €80 million.

Napoli also included a clause that gives them 10% of any future sale and a rule that Galatasaray cannot sell Osimhen to another Italian club for the next two years.

The 26-year-old Nigerian striker returns to Turkey in top form, after scoring 37 goals in 41 matches last season.
