Amokachi Praises Lobi Stars After Draw Against Akwa United, Eyes Improvement

Lobi Stars technical adviser Daniel Amokachi has applauded his players for their resilience in their 1-1 draw against Akwa United.

Onyekachi Okafor gave Lobi Stars the lead, but Friday Apollos struck late to salvage a point for the hosts.

Despite missing out on maximum points, Amokachi remains optimistic about his team’s progress and believes they are on the right path.

“We’re getting it right,” Amokachi said after the match. “We didn’t let our loss in Owerri affect us. We will rise and get back to winning ways.”

Lobi Stars, however, remain in the relegation zone and will need to build on this result to climb up the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) table.
