Ancelotti begs Perez to bring Osimhen from Napoli to Madrid in January
Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly begged Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez to bring Victor Osimhen from Napoli in January, reports SportsRation.
According to Sport via Daily Mail, Carlo Ancelotti is desperate for Real Madrid to bring the Nigerian striker to Spain.
Madrid are currently without a proper center forward since Karim Benzema’s injury, Carlo Ancelotti does not trust Mariano Diaz the only out-and-out striker in the team.
Instead, he plays Rodrygo Goes, Eden Hazard (occasional), and Luka Modric in the striker role as false nine in Karim Benzema’s absence, hence, the push for Victor Osimhen according to Sport.
Every top club will be interested in Victor Osimhen who is currently one of the best strikers in the world, scoring goals for fun in Italy.
The Nigerian striker recently scored his first hattrick in the Serie A in Napoli’s 4-0 win against Sassuolo.
He has scored 7 goals in 7 games in all competitions, in fact, in Serie A this season, he has scored 8 goals and assisted 2 goals in 10 league games.
Napoli are currently atop the Serie A table with 38 points from 14 games, 8 points above second place AC Milan.
It will be interesting to see if Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis will allow his most important player to leave when they are on the brink of winning their first-ever Serie A title in 32 years.
