Andre Ayew Leads Black Stars as 12 Players Join Camp for Super Eagles Matches
Ghana Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew, along with 12 other players, have arrived at camp in Marrakech, Morocco, as they gear up for the upcoming international friendly matches against Nigeria, according to sources from the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Scheduled to face Nigeria on Friday, March 22nd, followed by a match against Uganda on Tuesday, March 26th, 2024, the Black Stars have officially commenced their camp activities on Monday, March 18th, with their first workout session held on Tuesday morning.
Among the notable names present are goalkeepers Joseph Wollacott and Lawrence Ati-Zigi, alongside field players Andre Ayew, Tariq Lamptey, and Antoine Semenyo. Additionally, the squad has been bolstered with the inclusion of late call-up Kassim Nuhu, Abdul Samed Salis, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Patrick Kpozo, Seidu Alidu, Ernest Nuamah, Jordan Ayew, and Denis Odoi.
The Black Stars are set to conduct their inaugural field training session on Tuesday evening, intensifying their preparations for the anticipated matches in Marrakech.
