Another Moses out of Eagles games, as Moses Simon withdraws
KAA Gent forward Moses Simon Simon has withdrawn from the Super Eagles squad to prosecute games against the Desert Foxes Algeria and Albiceleste of Argentina.
The pacy winger has been nursing a toe injury he suffered during training and this made him miss Gent’s game against Standard Liege on Friday.
Things aren’t looking good for the senior national team ahead of the forthcoming engagements with the unavailablity of other first team players like Victor Moses and Odion Ighalo.
Leon Balogun’s fitness condition is also questionable as he has been an unused substitute for Mainz 05 since the game he suffered a cheek bone fracture .
The three-time African champions will take on Algeria on November 10 before traveling to Russia for the top grade international friendly against Argentina on November 14.
