Antetokounmpo makes Aminu and Trailblazers suffer

Greek-born Nigerian basketballer Giannis Antetokounmpo on Saturday at the BMO Harris Bradley Center made Al Farouk Aminu and Portland Trailblazers suffered.

The “greek freak” helped the Milwaukee Bucks sneak past Al Farouq Aminu’s Portland Trailblazers in their 113-110 win. Antetokounmpo dropped his career high on the night.

The forward who had dropped 34 and 37 points in his previous games against Cavaliers and Boston Celtics continued his impressivebstart to the new campaign with his career high 44 points.

The 22-year-old made his 44 points on 17-of-23 shooting. He added eight points, four rebounds and two steals in the Bucks’ 113-110 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Antetokounmpo scored 17 points in the fourth quarter, including a dunk that put Milwaukee ahead 111-110 with 11 seconds to go.

The Bucks star is averaging 38.3 points through three games, up from 22.9 last year, 16.9 in 2015-16 and 12.7 in 2014-15.

Al Farouq Aminu who has been impressive in Trailblazers perfect start of the season before their defeat to Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Bucks had a silent game.

Aminu has led both of the past teams he had played in rebounds in the last two games but against Giannis it was a different case as he only posted 5 points, 2 assist, 6 rebounds and 1 block in the 25 minutes he spent on the court.
