Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury will finally meet in the ring after their long-awaited heavyweight fight has been officially confirmed for December 11 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
This fight has been talked about for years, but Joshua and Fury will finally meet in the ring this December.
That wait is now over.
The fight will be streamed live globally on Netflix, with subscribers able to watch at no additional cost.
Joshua and Fury have never faced each other professionally, despite both spending years among the biggest names in heavyweight boxing. Joshua enters the fight with a 30-4 record and 27 knockouts, while Fury has a 36-2-1 record with 25 knockouts.
The fight will also mark a major return to the UK for Fury after his recent bouts outside Britain, while Joshua has also been building back towards another major heavyweight contest.
The first major promotional event is already scheduled. Joshua and Fury will meet for a press conference in London on September 30 ahead of the December showdown.
