Antonio Conte reveals why he wil not get involved with Victor Osimhen transfer discussion

Newly appointed Napoli coach Antonio Conte has stated that he will not be getting involved in the transfer situation of Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen has been a hot topic in transfer discussions since the end of the season, with several clubs expressing interest in him.

During his first press conference as Napoli’s coach on Wednesday evening, Conte acknowledged Osimhen’s talent but emphasized that he would not be part of the transfer negotiations.

“Regarding Osimhen, just as I knew very well about the situation with Kvara, Di Lorenzo, Anguissa, and Lobotka, on whom I had an absolute veto, I also know very well about the Osimhen situation,” Conte said. “I know that there are agreements with the club; it’s a different situation, which I’ll witness. Then if you ask me about the player, he’s a top player, but I can’t get into any discussions about Osimhen because these are previous agreements.”
