Antonio Conte tinkering on Chelsea’s formation
Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso, has revealed that Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, will change his tactics next season, to stay one step ahead of their title rivals.
The 3-4-3 system used by Conte, enabled the Italian to make the most of the players at his disposal in his debut year.
The formation was eventually adopted by the Blues’ rivals.
Alonso revealed Conte is now working on different systems, now that he is assembling his own players.
“We are working on new things this year to improve as a team. [It was] not only Chelsea [that used this system]. it’s an old Italian system that worked very well last year
“It’s normal that other teams are trying to play like this, depending on the players you have. It’s good to play in different ways.
“Football forgets everything very quick. It’s already time to think about the next season and do better than last year,” Alonso stated.
