Aribo, Balogun, & Calvin help the Rangers to Cup semi and final in four days
Joe Aribo, Leon Balogun, and Calvin Bassey have capped an incredible week by helping their Scottish club Rangers to a place in the Scottish Cup final.
Rangers secured an extra time 2-1 win against fierce rivals Celtics in another Old Firm Derby at the Hampden Park on Sunday.
Both teams are currently fighting for the title with Celtic currently sitting atop six points clear, but Joe Aribo, Leon Balogun, and Calvin Bassey powered Rangers to a semifinal win in the Scottish Cup game on Sunday.
Greg Taylor for the Celtics and Scot Arfield who came in for Joe Aribo scored for the Rangers as both teams played a 1-1 draw at normal regulation.
Three minutes after Leon Balogun was brought in the extra time, Carl Starfelt scored an own goal in the 112 minutes to hand Rangers a 2-1 lead and a place in the Scottish cup final.
Calvin Bassey was on the pitch from the beginning to the end and created the winning goal in extra time.
On Thursday, all three players were involved as the Rangers secured a place in the Europa League semifinal where they will play RB Leipzig.
Within four days with all three Super Eagles players in action, Rangers are through to the Europa League semi-finals and the Scottish Cup final.
