Arsenal and Chelsea FC have reportedly agreed a sixty-five million pounds fee for the transfer of German forward Kai Havertz, SportsRation reports.
This is according to updates by The Athletic, which says a medical is currently arranged by the 2022/2023 English Premier League runners-up ahead of his unveiling at the Emirates Stadium.
As regards the transfer of Kai Havertz, Arsenal and Chelsea two clubs are now sorting details per “potential instalments and add-ons”, before the deal is official.
German forward Kai Havertz has already agreed personal terms with the Gunners and is set for a switch of London Clubs.
A sixty-five million pounds fee will help Chelsea recoup a significant portion of the seventy-two million pounds paid to Bayer Leverkusen for his transfer in 2020.
Havertz has scored 32 goals in 139 games for Chelsea including the winner in the 2021 UEFA Champions League final vs Manchester City.
In the just concluded season, Havertz scored nine goals as Chelsea wobbled in all competitions, the Blues strangely finishing in the bottom half of the English Premier League table.
Whereas Mikel Arterta tutored Arsenal are recruiting to boost their squad in preparation for their UEFA Champions League return, there is exodus at Stamford Bridge ahead of Mauricio Pochettino’s first season.
While Kai Havertz looks set to stay in the Premier League with Arsenal, N’Golo Kante has signed for Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia, and current speculations show he could be joined in the Middle East by Hakim Ziyech, Kalidou Koulibaly and Senegal goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
