Arsenal beat PSG 2-0 in Champions League match
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal had an easy 2-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in their UEFA Champions League clash, thanks to goals from Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka.
Arsenal played a strong game at the Emirates Stadium, dominating the French champions. Bukayo Saka almost scored early with a curling shot that missed the target in the first 5 minutes.
The Gunners kept up the pressure and took the lead after Leandro Trossard sent a perfect cross to Kai Havertz, who headed the ball into the net in the 20th minute.
PSG tried to fight back with Nuno Mendes hitting the post and Achraf Hakimi forcing a save from David Raya, but Arsenal responded quickly. Bukayo Saka then scored directly from a free-kick, beating PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma to make it 2-0.
In the second half, Arsenal continued to control the game while PSG struggled to create chances. The best PSG could manage was a weak shot from Lee Kang-in, which was easily saved.
With this win, Arsenal climbed higher in the Champions League standings, leaving PSG behind. Arsenal will now prepare to face Southampton on Saturday, while PSG takes on OGC Nice in Ligue 1 on Sunday.
