Arsenal beat Tottenham 3-1 in thr North London derby to continue their title statement.
The league leaders took the lead 20 minutes into the game after a long range effort from Thomas Partey beats Hugo Lloris in goal for Tottenham.
Harry Kane pulled back for Tottenham with a striker from the spot kick to become the top scorer in Premier League London derbies.
The English striker surpassed Thierry Henry as the highest-scoring player in Premier League London derbies with 44 goals.
It was Kane 14th league goals against Arsenal.
Both team went into the half time break with a goal each.
Arsenal started the second half the brighter side and were rewarded when Jesus bundled home following Hugo Lloris’ mistake, and Tottenham’s hopes of a comeback were dashed when Emerson Royal was sent off.
Xhaka then drilled into the bottom-right corner as Mikel Arteta’s rampant side moved four points clear of Manchester City and consigned their fierce rivals to a first Premier League defeat of the season.
The win means Arsenal remain top, four points ahead of second placed Manchester City who play against Manchester United on Sunday.
