Arsenal Drop Important Points in Title Race After 1-1 Draw with Fulham

Arsenal missed a chance to move ahead in the title race after drawing 1-1 with Fulham at Craven Cottage. The Gunners were hoping to take advantage of Liverpool’s postponed match, but they couldn’t get the win.

Arsenal came into the match confident after their 3-0 win over Manchester United, while Fulham’s Alex Iwobi, who scored two goals in their last game, was eager to face his old team.

Despite their strong start, Arsenal couldn’t build on their momentum and had to settle for a draw. Fulham’s Raul Jimenez gave them the lead early, scoring a goal on a counterattack just 10 minutes into the game.

Arsenal controlled the game but couldn’t score until the second half. They equalized from a corner kick, with William Saliba scoring after a header from Kai Havertz.

Arsenal thought they had won when Bukayo Saka scored a late goal from a cross by Gabriel Martinelli, but it was ruled offside by VAR.

Arsenal pushed for a winner in the final minutes but had to settle for a 1-1 draw, dropping two important points in their fight for the title.
