Arsenal Fans Bemoan Kai ‘The Glue’ Havertz’s Absence in 2-0 Loss to West Ham
Arsenal fans expressed their frustration over the absence of German utility player Kai Havertz in their team’s 2-0 home defeat to West Ham.
Tomas Soucek scored a goal in the first half, and former Gunner Konstantinos Mavropanos scored the second in the second half to condemn Mikel Arteta’s side to a loss against their London rivals.
Kai Havertz was sidelined for the clash due to suspension resulting from accumulated cards.
Arsenal fans, who harbor hopes of their club ending a decades-long wait for the Premier League title, attributed the loss to the absence of the German player, affectionately referred to as the “glue.”
I'm not shocked Kai Havertz is now being seen as the glue to our attack against low blocks. He deserves his flowers. pic.twitter.com/esxPLEfspb

Havertz is the glue.

Ironically, just a few weeks ago, the majority of the club’s fans considered Kai Havertz surplus to requirements and a waste of money.
