Arsenal Say Sorry to Atletico Madrid After Hot Water Problem at Emirates Stadium

Arsenal have apologised to Atletico Madrid after a hot water problem at the Emirates Stadium meant the Spanish team had to go back to their hotel to shower after training.
UEFA rules allow visiting teams to train at the stadium the night before a Champions League game. Atletico Madrid were doing this ahead of their match against Arsenal on Tuesday night.
At around 6:45pm (BST), Atletico staff told Arsenal that there was no hot water in their dressing room. Arsenal then realised the same problem had happened in their own dressing room too.
Atletico were supposed to finish training at 7:30pm, but they stopped 15 minutes early and went back to their hotel instead of using the stadium facilities.
Spanish newspaper Marca reported that the Atletico players were unhappy about the situation.
Arsenal have said sorry to Atletico for the trouble. The problem was fixed at 7:25pm — just after the team had already left.
Champions League Form
Arsenal have had a strong start in the Champions League, winning their first two games without letting in a goal.
Atletico Madrid lost 3-2 to Liverpool but bounced back with a big 5-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt.
