Arsenal through, Chelsea left a little too late
Arsenal Women are into the Champions League semifinals, even after losing 1-0 to Chelsea Women.
Arsenal’s first-leg advantage held up. That 3-1 win gave Arsenal enough to survive this round and go through 3-2 on aggregate.
Chelsea pushed all night but couldn’t find a way through until the very end.
Sjoeke Nüsken scored in stoppage time from close range. By then, it was already too late. Sam Kerr’s return gave Chelsea more threat, but Arsenal stayed organised and got through it.
Arsenal is on. Chelsea is out.
