Aruna Quadri: With An Experienced Coach I Could Rule The World

Aruna Quadri who just set a record at the just concluded ITTF World Tour In Bulgaria as the first African player to make it to the semifinal of the ITTF World Tour has pleaded with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to hire a knowledgeable coach for him, ahead of the 2017 World Cup in Liege, Belgium.

Aruna Quadri who has had busy month having participated in the Nigeria Open and Bulgaria Open all in August will be involved in the 2017 ITTF World Cup in Liege, Belgium on October 20 to 22, and the Nigerian believes he can rule the world if he gets an experienced coach.

“I am actually getting used to playing without a coach because I have no sponsor. Since I have no sponsor, I just have to play alone.

“I can say that a coach is very, very important but since I have no support, I just have to keep on playing alone. If I had a coach, it would be even better of course.”

He, however, pleaded with his fans over his disappointing outing at Nigeria Open, describing it as normal in sports.

It would be recalled that the Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung, had earlier promised to support Quadri for the ITTF World Cup.
