Asisat Oshoala pulls hamstring, out of Barça v LSK Kvinner champions league tie

Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala has an injury on her left hamstring, Barcelona Femini medicals have confirmed.

After scoring one of the goals as Barcelona beat their rivals, Atletico Madrid 2-0 at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in front of a record fan on Sunday; Oshoala will have to wait before she returns to action.

Asisat who scored a beautiful goal for her fifth league goal in as many games didn’t finish the game as she was pulled out in the 73rd minute because of a suspected injury which has now been confirmed.

“Asisat Oshoala has an injury to the hamstring on the left thigh. She is out of LSK Kvinner tie on Wednesday and re-evaluation will determine her availability,” reads the statement.

Barcelona will return to action this Wednesday without inform Oshoala when they tackle LSK Kvinner in a Championship League game.
