Asisat Oshoala receives her 2021/22 Pichichi award

Asisat Oshoala has received her Pichichi award for finishing as the top scorer in the 2021/22 Women’s Spanish Primera Division season.

The Barcelona forward was presented the award alongside her new teammate Geyse da Silva Ferreira on Wednesday.

Asisat Oshoala scored a total of league 20 goals for Barcelona last season despite missing most part of the season due to injuries.

The former Liverpool and Arsenal forward scored a total of 20 goals in 19 league games, while her new teammate, Geyse da Silva Ferreira who was playing for Madrid CFF last season scored 20 goals in 27 league games.

Both players were given their awards.
