Asisat Oshoala scores winning goal for Bay FC against Seattle Reign

Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala was the hero for Bay FC, scoring the decisive penalty in their 1-0 win over Seattle Reign in the NWSL on Sunday. The match took place at Lumen Field in front of 9,051 fans.

The game started with Seattle Reign dominating possession and creating early chances. However, in the 27th minute, Bay FC was awarded a penalty after a foul inside the box. Oshoala stepped up and calmly slotted the ball into the lower left corner, giving Bay FC the lead.

This goal proved crucial for Oshoala, as she continues to make her mark in the NWSL after joining Bay FC. The win moves Bay FC to 28 points, tying them with Portland for seventh place, with the top eight teams qualifying for the playoffs.
